*Please note: If the squid develops a thin, dry, powdery/whitish film, particularly after being exposed to air, it could be:
Salt crystallisation from the squid
Natural proteins/minerals coming to the surface
Fat crystallisation as the product changes temperature
Surface changes caused by drying and exposure to oxygen
This can happen with dried seafood and is still safe for your dog to consume.
